What is CAS for international nurses?

The Competence Assessment Service (CAS) is provided by a consortium of Central Queensland University and Central Queensland Institute of TAFE on behalf of Council. CAS is a clinically orientated and valid mechanism for assessing nursing and midwifery knowledge and competence. This single service provider ensures reliable and consistent assessment of applicants required to demonstrate competence for practice in Queensland.
